Its not that difficult to produce you can find suppliers of plain t shirts, find shops where t shirts are printed and ask them to print any kind of graphic you want. The main problem and hard-working is in marketing and sales. Facebook, instagram etc are now tools for free marketing and companies like amazon and flipkart help your sales by providing a platform to sell and also delivery. Before you start your own T-shirt company, I would suggest working for one. This will provide you with both a paycheck and the hands-on learning experience that you will gain by working for someone who is taking all of the risks. This always the best first step when starting an unfamiliar business. Since learning all of these items can save you time, effort and money, it might be a wise decision to consider working for someone else first and determine if you find that you enjoy the business and that it’s profitable enough to begin your own. Second, the HOW — once you have figured out what makes your brand special, then figure out the sourcing and pricing. Then figure out the distribution. DTC or wholesale or both? Make a business plan. Marketing and Advertising- What makes your brand stand out? What features can it offer that are going to be appealing? If you are going to be the next big thing, what can you create to make it sound so? What demographic do you want to appeal to? Athletic wear, luxury brand, pop culture, everyday wear (for example) Who is your client?
When you have answers to these questions you will have a much clearer idea as to where to look for help and whether you should pursue the idea. As the second- what will be so special about yout T-shirts? How will you differ from everybody else selling T-shirts? (Product/brand positioning) As the third- are other people also interested in the difference you’re going to offer? And are they willing to pay for that? if yes, how much are they ready to pay? (Defining and measuring your potential audience) The fourth- is it possible to produce the product and earn, taking into account the price the audience is ready to pay and the amount of ppl interested in buying your stuff? (Money flow). If all the answers seem legit and promising, take a business plan blank from internet and start filling it up; you’ll find the rest of the gaps that need to be answered/ solved.
