I would think it would be inappropriate. If your going to be in a business profession than I would think there is a dress code. Walking around with your shirt untucked looks sloppy. Every time I have ever worn business attire my shirt was tucked in etc. In the US you’ll get some funny looks but I’ve never known anyone to be berated or assaulted, as long as their butt wasn’t hanging out of their clothes. One day you will be worse than that, and you will need pity and help. Fashionability and style won’t matter at all. Someone with your attitude will determine if you continue to exist or don’t in a way you’d never predict. It’s inappropriate to have a man start undressing in public unless he’s in a dressing room. Unbuttoning his shirt, or his pants, means he’s getting undressed.
The same rule holds for women: cleavage is vulgar (which is why it’s used at bars) and unprofessional. Bra straps must be fitted so as not to slip and in dresses and tops without sleeves, ha… It’s called a dress shirt, so chances are, no. But if you’ve got to wear dressy clothes to work, they probably don’ t want someone with a shirt that’ s not tucked in hanging around. When you get home you’ re on your turf- YOU make the rules, and decide if wearing your shirt untucked is okay.The way I learned it there were 2 types of shirts.Does the bottom of the shirt have tails?if so,it’s supposed to be tucked in.If the bottom is flat,it’s not as formal,usually not shaped,either,and it can be worn outside your pants.But styles have changed lots of times since I learned how to tuck a shirt in.
It’s allowed, but not accepted. There’s been plenty of people who faced heavy bullying from wearing just a tail or ear-headhands. You won’t get in any actual trouble, but people are dicks and many will treat someone like that quite horribly. If you can not say something nice a person’s clothes say nothing. Not your business . You don’t know their circumstances in life. YES, uness your going to the Grammys and you’re wearing some cool Gucci get up, tuck your shirt in with a jacket and tie. I think when a man wears a sportcoat you need to tuck your shirt in because you look half dressed, especially if you’re over 30.
